Flatbed/Skel Trucks are a great solution when the container is out-of-gauge or non-compliant with Rail. As a Road Freight option, this transport type is almost always more expensive than Rail but gives you much more freedom on your out-of-gauge or non-compliant container.

Non-compliance generally applies to containers that aren't or can't be CSC'd (certified) for Rail, or are modified in such a way that they don't comply with Rail pre-requisites for safe transit. Out-of-gauge simply means the container exceeds Rail approved measurements.

As a non-self loading vehicle, flatbed/skels either need to be loaded by suitable lifting equipment that you have onsite, or paired with another vehicle such as a Sideloader, Hiab/Crane Truck, or Mobile Franna.
